This is roughly the one year anniversary of the blog (rejoicing). So far the blog has seen two other countries, several cities, a gay bar, a burlesque Broadway show, racecars, animals, trains, an ice bar, and the edge of the world, so to speak. Cook Islands, New Zealand, Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles…

Shoulder injury…

Etc.

Not to mention a rather hasty posting schedule (i.e. whenever I remember to do it.) Granted there hasn’t been that much to talk about. Lots of introspective work going on here.

Oh, the car broke down. We put in a new clutch and it was running well…ish until driving uphill and it decided not to go into 2nd, then not into 1st…

Heh I love cars. This clutch was brand new too so we didn’t have to pay it to get it fixed. Of course now it barely goes into 3rd.

Lost you yet? Good.

I suppose my new years resolution for this year is to come back with new stories. I’ll be living in some new exotic place (or just back here in LA which is also cool) and traveling places which’ll give me some stories. NZ did. Well I’ll bring some cool ones back for you guys.

Like: I did the pants off subway ride with some friends of mine. I met these guys doing a class over the break and word spread around the group about this thing so we said hey what the hell? The whole event was organized by “improv everywhere” and metro systems all over the world participated like New York, Tokyo, London, and LA. The big difference between NY, Tokyo, London and LA is that the first three actually use their subway systems so the joke would have worked better. Instead it was just a bunch of people in their underwear riding the LA metro. Still a load of fun though. Good to get out and meet people. (another new years resolution. Meet people!)

Hmm…yup another short one. Stories! I do promise.
